Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a statement from commercial organisations with an annual turnover of £36 million or more. Recruitment London Ltd's turnover is currently below this threshold, but we choose to publish this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to ethical business practice.

1. Our commitment

Recruitment London Ltd has zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to putting effective systems in place to safeguard against modern slavery occurring within our own business or our supply chains.

2. Our organisation

We operate an online recruitment platform connecting job seekers with employers across the UK. Our direct workforce is small, and our supply chain is limited mainly to technology and hosting service providers.

3. Our supply chains

We work with a small number of UK and EU-based technology suppliers for hosting, email delivery, and payment processing. We expect all suppliers to comply with UK employment law and to share our commitment to preventing modern slavery.

4. Our policies

We maintain internal policies that support this commitment, including:

  • A recruitment policy that verifies the right to work of all direct employees
  • A whistleblowing policy that allows staff to raise concerns confidentially
  • A supplier code of conduct that sets minimum standards for anyone we work with

5. Due diligence and risk assessment

We assess new suppliers before engaging them and review existing relationships periodically. Given the nature and size of our business, we consider our exposure to modern slavery risk to be low, but we remain vigilant and will act on any concerns raised.

6. Training

Relevant staff are made aware of the signs of modern slavery and how to raise concerns, as part of our wider induction and compliance training.

7. Approval

This statement was approved by the board of Recruitment London Ltd and will be reviewed annually.
